How I Choose

How I Choose

I read the studies, check the ingredients, compare prices, and separate useful evidence from wellness marketing. When research is limited, I say so plainly.

How I choose

What do you check first?

I start with the evidence, then consider ingredients, exposure, performance, price, and how realistic the swap is.

How do you read the research?

I look for human studies, reputable scientific reviews, transparent testing, and the difference between hazard and real-world risk.

How do you compare products?

I name the full price, check how a product performs, and explain whether the lower-toxicity option earns its place.

What claims do you refuse?

I do not call something toxic without context, promise perfect safety, or repeat claims that lack credible supporting evidence.

Do you test everything yourself?

I test products in our busy household, revisit the research, and update recommendations when better information becomes available.
